I know it’s been two weeks since I last wrote but what can I say? The weekends have been super busy. Hence, here’s a snippet of what’s been going on.
This time I’ve made a Vlog of the Werribee Open Range Zoo. I must admit I didn’t capture everything we saw. The place is hardly a ‘zoo’ with such large open spaces and their efforts at fighting the extinction of animals. The safari was lovely but the trail provided access to only the herbivores. The carnivores were safely tucked away in large, open spaces of their own – which wasn’t a bad thing as one little girl (cough cough) was terrified at the thought.
With plenty of clean toilets, eating places that suited different budgets and play grounds all over the park, the visit with kids was easy!
Don’t forget a pair of walking shoes, the place is massive! Oh, did I say that kids enter free on holidays and weekends? Yay!
Enjoy the snapshot of the zoo and stay tuned for the next post. It’s an important one, especially for parents.
